Experience

Dan Castro joined Coleman & Horowitt, LLP in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, he was associated with the law firm of Turocy & Watson, LLP and DLA Piper, LLP. Prior to law school, Mr. Castro worked as a patent agent at O'Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles. While at M.I.T., Mr. Castro received extensive laboratory experience, including course work, at the M.I.T. Digital Systems Laboratory and the M.I.T. Microsystems Technology Laboratory.

Dan limits his practice to intellectual property matters with an emphasis on patent prosecution. His experience includes a wide range of electrical and computer technologies, including semiconductor fabrication equipment and processes, computer systems, software, optical networks and components, as well as internet enabled/related applications.
